All about EARTH.er
EARTH.er is an independent design brand that began in Tai O, Hong Kong, and is now based in Glasgow, Scotland. Specializing in travel bags and accessories made from the ancient, ethical, and sustainable material —hemp— our brand is rooted in original design that honors both the land and life. We aim to create a harmonious balance between craftsmanship and sustainable living.
Every EARTH.er product is designed by us and handcrafted by our family-run fair trade workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal. We visits the workshop every year, living, working, and co-creating alongside the artisans, building deep, family-like bonds based on trust and collaboration.
Our travel bags are not mass-produced using modern machinery, but are carefully crafted using traditional handcraft techniques. Each element of the bag is shaped by human hands, made with materials gifted by nature, and reflects the respect we have for both our artisans and the environment. Due to the limited resources in Nepal, certain stages of production are carried out in collaboration with Scotland, ensuring the quality and integrity of the craft.
At EARTH.er, we believe that humanity and Mother Earth are inseparable, intricately woven together. Our mission is to inspire people to appreciate and honor all that Mother Earth has given us, without causing harm in return. Through each product, we hope to offer a sense of connection, warmth, and respect— both for the artisans and the natural world. We want every EARTH.er bag to carry not only practicality but also a sense of love and gratitude that connects people to each other and to the Earth.
EARTH.er 是一個源於香港大澳、現落戶於蘇格蘭的獨立設計品牌，專注於創作以天然大麻布為主要材質的旅行袋與服裝配件。品牌堅持以原創設計呈現對土地與生命的尊重，並致力於探索工藝與可持續生活方式的平衡之道。
所有 EARTH.er 的產品皆由品牌主理人親自設計，並交由位於尼泊爾加德滿都的一個家族式公平貿易工坊，透過純手工方式細緻製作。主理人每年親赴當地，與工匠一同生活、共事及創作新系列，在長年互信與交流中建立起如家人般深厚的情誼。
EARTH.er 的旅行袋並非倚賴現代化機械大量生產，而是從紡線、織布開始，結合傳統手藝與自然素材，由工匠一針一線、全心全意打造。由於尼泊爾資源條件有限，部分製程由尼泊爾與蘇格蘭協作完成，以維持品質與工藝精神的一致性。
我們深信，人類與大地母親彼此交織、密不可分。EARTH.er 希望透過每一件作品，讓使用者感受到來自工匠手作的溫度與心意，重新連結人與人、人與自然之間最真摯的情感。
